Karen Sue Aspinall, age 64 of Freeport, Michigan, passed away December 30, 2017 at her residence.
Karen was born on August 26, 1953 in Freeport, Michigan, the daughter of Kenneth Wayne and Marian (Bass) VanDenburg. She attended Thornapple Kellogg High School, graduating in 1971. Karen married Carl William Aspinall on July 16, 1983 and were married for 16 years. Karen worked for Twin City Food, retiring in 2017. She loved to hunt, fish, garden and go mushrooming. Karen also loved spending time with her family.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Marian VanDenburg and husband, Carl William Aspinall.
She is survived by her daughter, Tressa Aspinall of Freeport, granddaughter, Brittany (Andrew) Clous of Hastings, brothers; Mike (Mary) VanDenburg of Clarksville, Darrell (Bambie) VanDenburg of Lowell, Terry VanDenburg of Clarksville, and Kenneth VanDenburg of Croton, MI, special little angels; great-granddaughter, Lillie Ferris and soon to be grandson, Keegan Clous.
