Kelli Ann Otero

Kelli Ann Otero, age 46 of Battle Creek, died Monday May 1, 2008 with her husband Jerry, as the result of an automobile accident. She was born July 19, 1961 the daughter of Norman James and Anita Virginia (McGlocklin) McDermott. Kelli graduated from Battle Creek Lakeview High School in 1979. She then went to Kellogg Community College where she received her Degree as a Registered Nurse. Kelli was married May 5, 1984 to Jerry Otero. She was a caring and compassionate person, she was especially kind and caring for the elderly. Kelli enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, and was a animal lover, she was a great Mother and Wife who enjoyed taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents. Kelli is survived by her daughter, Jessica Otero , and her twin sons, Calvin and Daniel Otero of Battle Creek, a sister Kim , several aunts uncles and cousins, and many close friends. A memorial service will be held Monday May 5, 2008 at 12:00 noon at the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings , Pastor James M. Gysel officiating, friends can meet with the family one hour prior to services. Arrangements are by the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings.
