Kelly Eileen Rutter-Sherman

Kelly Eileen Rutter-Sherman, age 64, of Hastings, Michigan, passed away on November 9, 2022.

Kelly was born on February 22, 1958, in Berkeley, California, the daughter of Ernest Jerral Vanasek and Geraldine Lavaughn McIntosh. Kelly attended Orland High School. On December 7, 1995, Kelly married Bruce Sherman. She was a commercial driver for 20 years, retiring in 2020.

Kelly's passion was rescuing animals. She enjoyed contributing and volunteering at animal rescue organizations. She was an avid dog lover. She was a longtime member of the ASPCA. She was also a passionate advocate for the ASPCA and local animal rescues. Kelly enjoyed gardening and her dogs. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Kelly was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Bruce Alan Sherman, her parents Ernest Jerral Vonasek and Geraldine Lavaughn McIntosh, and her brother Kristopher Vonasek.

She is survived by her daughter Brandi Lynn Kelley and son Nathaniel Ernest Boracci.
