Kenneth Lee Clemens age 80 of Hastings, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Magnum Care in Hastings.
Ken was born 1934 in Hart, Michigan the son of Elden Vance and Myrtle Marie (Challender) Clemens.
Over the years, Ken worked for General Motors, was a truck driver for T.A. Foresburg and did export packaging for Kainer Export, retiring in 1994.
Ken enjoyed music and in his earlier years played guitar. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching football, especially the MSU Spartans. Ken loved to spend time with family and friends.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Elden and Myrtle Clemens, wife, Barbara Jean Elder Clemens, and sisters, Marilyn and Iola Clemens.
He is survived by his children: Annette (Mark) Brown, Timothy (Robin) Clemens, Thomas (Denise) Clemens, Elizabeth Miller, Christine Washburn, Melissa (Barry) Cox, Ricky Clemens, Bradley Clemens, Edward Clemens, Evelyn Clemens, 29 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held Sunday January 25, 2015 @ 2:00pm At the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings.
Pastor Gary Newton will officiate the service.
