Kenneth Evan Paine

Kenneth Evan Paine, age 50 of Hastings, died on Sunday October 7, 2007 at his residence. Ken was born May 7, 1957 in Hastings, Michigan, the son of Gilbert and Mary (Smith) Paine. He was a graduate of Hastings High School class of 1975. He graduated from Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, Illinois. Ken's employment included, Technical Systems In. in Grand Rapids, Northern Air Service in Grand Rapids, Butler Aviation O'Hare Field in Chicago, and Pan American Airlines in Chicago. He also was a Truck Driver in Hastings. Ken was a licensed pilot who enjoyed flying, electronics and Scuba Diving, he also was an avid treasurer hunter, gold minor, and enjoyed building model radio controlled cars and airplanes. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ken is survived by his many friends and close neighbors who were there to help him when he needed it, especially John Resseguie. Visitation for Ken will be held Tuesday from 12:00 noon until service time. Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 9, 2007 at 1:00pm at the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings, Rev. Carla Smith officiating , burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Vermontville. Memorials can be made to charity of one's choice. Arrangements are by the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings.
