Kenneth R. Stebbins age 72 of Hastings, passed away October 13, 2014 at Cornerstone Living Center, after a long battle with cancer.
Ken was born on May 20, 1942 in Ionia, Michigan, the son of Russell and Esther (Goodell) Stebbins.
Ken's hobbies included bowling, gardening and playing Bingo. Ken also enjoyed volunteer work. He was an avid Michigan State fan and a Detroit Tigers fan.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Esther Stebbins.
He is survived by his sisters, Mary White of Hastings and Donna Meyers of Lansing as well as several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan or a charity of one's choice.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 3:00 pm at the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings. Pastor Randall Bertrand will officiate the service.
Burial at Saranac Cemetery will take place at a later date.
