Kenneth "Garry" Wiggs

Garry Wiggs, age 83, of Gun Lake, MI, passed away on July 20, 2021. He was born on April 13,1938 at Princeton, IN to Kenneth and Lorene Wiggs. He graduated from Franklin College in 1959 with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry. Garry worked a 40+ year career in plastics chemistry at a variety of companies and locations.  He lived in cities and towns from Reno, Nevada to Conroe, Texas, as well as in several midwestern states. He was an inventor and held several patents. After retirement, he enjoyed volunteering in the community. Garry married Carole Ann Loosemore on March 13, 1959.

Garry's successful career paled in importance to his love of family.  In his children's early years, he could be found leading scout troops and coaching soccer.  He was homework helper and quiet cheerleader.  In adulthood, his children could always count on his listening ear.  His wife was the light of his life.

Garry was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.  He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carole, of Gun Lake, MI, daughter Cay (Tony) Svob of Fountain Hills, AZ, son Allen (Michelle) of Bristol, IN, daughter Melissa Wiggs of Newago, MI and daughter Wendy (Darrell) Stokke of Fairfax, VA. Also surviving are grandchildren, Alix (Charley) Pickering, Dani Wiggs, Sydney Svob, Bryan Stokke, Faith Svob, and Kara Stokke and great granddaughter Sofia Askins.
