Kenneth Wade Wood

Kenneth Wade Wood, age 49, of Hastings, passed away on June 29, 2020. Kenneth was born on September 18, 1970 in Battle Creek, Michigan, the son of Kenneth Ray and Margaret (Fluhr) Wood.

Ken was a 1989 graduate of Hastings High School. He worked for Bradford and White in Middleville and Bill Seif Chevrolet in Hastings, Michigan.

Ken was a very outgoing guy, always trying to help someone out. He would give the shirt off his back if needed. He liked working on cars, he enjoyed his dogs Buddy and Gracie and spending time with family, always giving his sister, Robin Mains, a hard time. Ken enjoyed watching football. He would always bet and root for the Detroit Lions even though they always lost, but he was a big fan. He also liked Michigan Wolverines. Go Blue! - He would always say.

Ken was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Ray Wood. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Wood of Coldwater, MI, sister Robin Mains of Quincy, MI, nephews Robert Roach of Quincy, Steven (Danielle) Wood of Coldwater, great-nephew Dominic Wood of Coldwater, great-niece Aubrey Wood of Coldwater, Aunt Elizabeth Fluhr of Louisville, KY, and Shawn and Vicki Mosely of Battle Creek.
