Kristina Lynn Hammond

Kristina Lynn Hammond age 53 of Norwich, Connecticut passed away unexpectedly at her residence on June 29, 2013.

She was born in Hastings on March 18, 1960, the daughter of Barbara Parrott (Farley) Adrianson.

Kristina attended Maple Valley with the class of 78., leaving early and earning her GED the next year.  She graduated from Three Rivers Community College in Norwich, CT in 1995 with an Associates Degree.  Kristina went on to attain a Bachelors Degree from the University of Connecticut in 2006 and then her Masters Degree at the New York Institute of Technology as a Physicians Assistant.

Kristina worked as an RN at Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT.  After attaining a degree as Physicians assistant, Kristina worked at Backus Hospital as a PA in surgery.

Kristina was a very loving, caring and giving person.  She loved her family.  Her children and grandchildren were the high-light of her life.  Kristina enjoyed the outdoors, traveling and was an avid Star Trek fan.  She traveled to Washington State, France and Michigan to see her family.

Kristina is survived by her mother and step-father, Barbara and Peter Adrianson (Hastings); sons:  Benjamin (Keli) Hammond (Lansing), Daniel Hammond (Altamonte Springs, FL), daughters:  Sarah (Francois Buisson) of Vendome, France, Abigail (Steven) Browne (Bremerton, WA); grandsons:  Alex and Andrew Hammond and Harry Browne; brother, Joe (Diane) Farley (Shelbyville), nephews: Mike Farley and daughter, Alayna, John Farley and son, Blake, step-sister, Holly (Clyde) Coburn and sons, Ryan and Nick. step-brother, Peter (Charlotte) Adrianson and children, Laurence (Jill Cathcart), and daughter, Hildie and her son Bravon.
