Larry L. Deller

Larry L. Deller, age 77 of Dowling, Michigan passed away peacefully January 19, 2016 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.
Larry was born on June 10, 1938 in Angola, Indiana, the son of Lewis and Velma (Lininger) Deller. He attended Scott Center School and graduated from Angola High School.
Larry served in the US Air Force from 1956 to 1960. He married Bonnie Gary on December 22, 1956. Larry worked for Owens Illinois Glass Company in Charlotte, Michigan for over thirty years, retiring in 2001. He enjoyed officiating high school basketball for over twenty-five years. You could always find Larry working on one of his many projects at the lake. He loved fishing, watching sports, and spending time with his family.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Deller, brother, Danny Deller, sister-in-law, Elaine Deller and nephew, Steven Deller.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Bonnie, his dear mother, Velma, sons; Rick Deller (Cyndee Beach) of Dimondale, MI, Eric (Becky) Deller of DelMar, California, five grandchildren, Robert Deller (Amanda Titus), Jamie (Caleb) Burzan, Ethan, Kate and Claire Rose Deller, two great-grandsons, Connor and Tanner Deller, brother, Ronald Deller, sister-in-law, Willa Deller and many nieces and nephews.
Respecting Larry's wishes, cremation has taken place.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
