Leonard "Lenny" Joseph James Wentz

Leonard “Lenny” Joseph James Wentz, of Hastings, Michigan, passed away on June 22, 2026, at the age of 55.

Lenny was born on January 11, 1971, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Lenerd and Karen Wentz. He graduated from East Kentwood High School and went on to build a successful career as an Auto Body Technician, working in the industry for over 30 years. For the last 14 years, he was employed at Auto Care Experts in Wyoming, where he was respected for his skill, dedication, and strong work ethic.

Lenny had a deep love for music and was a talented lead guitar player and vocalist who performed with several bands over the years. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, playing disc golf, and working on projects around the house. One of his favorite musicians was Jamey Johnson. He was also a member of St. George Peter & Paul’s Aid.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Wentz.

Lenny is survived by his father, Lenerd Wentz; his significant other of 14 years, Melissa Webster George; his sons, Dylan Wentz and Brian Workman; Siblings, Randy (Natasha) VanKampen, Darrell (Dina) Featherly, Clyde Featherly, and Sharon Timmerman; many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Grimm.
