Linda Ann Bignall of Hastings passed away peacefully, at home surrounded by her family, on May 15, 2026, in Hastings, Michigan, at the age of 80. She was born March 27, 1946, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the daughter of Herman Louis Stoffel and Avis Potter.
Linda graduated from Byron Center High School with the Class of 1964. On September 5, 1964, she married the love of her life, Ronald Kenneth Bignall. Together they shared many happy years, especially enjoying vacations up north and time spent with family and friends.
Linda worked as a nurse’s aide before retiring from Steelcase Manufacturing as a laborer. She found joy in crocheting, feeding wild birds, side-by-side rides, and keeping her children busy fixing the latest issue with her phone. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with those she loved, including her loyal dog, Salley, who never left her side.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronald; sister, Sandy McAlary; sisters-in-law, Becky Bignall, Gayle Fish, and Janie Post; and niece, Sheri.
Linda is survived by her children, Robin (Barry) Raterink, Laurie (Dan) Hultquist, and Missie (Ryan) Lowell; grandchildren Jacob, Josh, Clay, Makenna, Braeden, and Jaelynne; great-grandchildren Soren and Astrid; sister Kathy (Chuck) Mingerink; brother Bud Stoffel; and many extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
