Linda Jean Ellsworth

Linda Jean Ellsworth, age 66 of Hastings, passed away January 2, 2019 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Linda was born on September 29, 1952 in West Branch, Michigan, the daughter of Jack and Geraldine (Trout) Chrivia.   She graduated from Ogemaw High School.  Linda married Wayne Ellsworth on May 19, 1994, and have enjoyed 24 years of marriage.

Linda worked for Hastings Manufacturing for 18 years, until her retirement.  She loved spending time with family and friends.   Linda enjoyed watching wildlife.  She also enjoyed eating fish, that someone else caught for her.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Jack Chrivia and brother Terry Chrivia.   She is survived by her husband, Wayne Ellsworth of Hastings, daughter, Elly (Rich) Chrzan, special Nana to granddaughters, Sydnee and Richelle Chrzan, son, Tommy Newton and granddaughter, Domonique Colon, grandsons, Tanner and Trace Newton, mother, Geraldine Chrivia, sisters,  Pamela Hodges, Julia (Don) Davis, nieces, nephews and her adopted children, Lexi Courtney and Joe Arens,

Linda's final stubborn wishes were " don't cry for me ... just smile".

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital or to the family to help with final expenses.
