Our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend Linda Rae Taylor Ervin passed away March 11, 2023, after a courageous year trying to heal from a life-changing accident.
Linda was born in Lansing, Michigan on September 14, 1948, the daughter of Harold and Phyllis (Dimitroff) Taylor.
Linda is survived by her husband, Kenneth Ervin, her children, Todd and Leslie Boonstra, her grandchildren Alexis Ardelean, Jp Saintamour, Aiden Saintamour, Troy Boonstra and Brandon and Dakota Boonstra as well as her siblings, Gary and Gail Taylor, Andrea and Carl Schluter, and Nick and Mary Dimitroff.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and son, whom she adored, Joel Ervin.
Ken and Linda were married a beautiful 51 years. They lived in Colorado; Howell, Michigan; Battle Creek, Michigan; and retired to Hastings, Michigan to be with their grandkids.
Linda loved everyone. She also had an unconditional love for her grandchildren and a passion for reading, nature, and movies. Linda worked for over 10 years at Thornapple Valley Church, and cherished her many friends there. She was a gentle soul but had a strength of spirit that shown through in all she did. Her ministry was loving people and encouraging them in their lives. The family finds comfort, knowing her spirit is free from her physical pain and suffering. God called a warrior home.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 27th 2023 at 12 PM to 1 PM with the service immediately following at 1 PM with a luncheon after at Thornapple Valley Church to 2750 M 43 Highway Hastings, MI 49058.
