Lori Ann Russell

Lori Ann Russell (Lindsay), age 53, of Freeport, MI, tragically passed away on July 5, 2019 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan following an auto accident. She was born at Pennock Hospital in Hastings, MI to the parents Lois Steele (Myers) and Charles Lindsay Sr. on August 24, 1965. Lori attended Thornapple Kellogg Schools in Middleville, MI and graduated high school in 1983. She worked as a laborer at Bradford White Corporation for 28 years before retiring in 2016. Lori enjoyed quilting, working on puzzles, antiquing, taking care of her pets, watching Hallmark movies, riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, feeding hummingbirds, and spending time with family. Most of all, Lori loved being a mother.

She is preceded in death by her mother Lois Steele (Myers), her aunt Alice Hardin (Myers), and her uncle John Myers. She is survived by her only beloved child, Rachel Belson (Jonathon Campbell) of Grand Rapids, MI; brother Charles Lindsay Jr. of Freeport, MI; former spouse, friend, and father of her daughter, Randyl Belson of Hastings, MI; former spouse Brian Russell of Middleville, MI; uncle James Myers (Bonnie Myers) of Lapeer, MI; and father Charles Lindsay Sr. (Josephine Lindsay) of Delton, MI. Lori's family would like to send their most sincere and heartfelt thanks to the local community and the UAW Local 1002 family for all of the love, support, and prayers expressed to them during this difficult time.

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. that will start with a Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the UAW Local 1002, 295 Washington Street, Middleville, MI 49333.
