Margaret Barbara White, age 86 of Hastings, and formerly Manistee and Custer, Michigan, passed away November 18, 2016 at Thornapple Manor in Hastings.
Margaret was born on September 30, 1930 in Manistee, Michigan, the daughter of Elmer E. and Anna M. (Luczyk) Stamp. She married William White on September 17, 1955.
Margaret was a stay at home mom and was devoted to her family. She was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Church. Margaret enjoyed reading novels, crosswords, word-searches, jig-saw puzzles, playing cards, scrabble, bird watching and listening to country music.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Anna (Luczyk) Stamp, and son, Ralph White.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, William L. White of Hastings, daughters, Kathleen Galvan of Wayland and Lori White of Hastings, son, William Jr. (Linda) White of Dorr, 7 grandchildren 8 great-grandchildren, sister, Mary Jane Karas of Manistee, brother, John Stamp of Manistee and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 10-11:30 am at the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings. A Memorial Service will follow the visitation period at 11:30 am.
