Marjorie Irene Snyder

Marjorie Irene Snyder, of Hastings, passed away peacefully at the age of 77 on May 26, 2025. Born on December 26, 1947, in Hastings, Michigan, she was the beloved daughter of Charles and Ida (Springer) Johnson.

Marjorie graduated from Hastings High School with the Class of 1966. On July 26, 1975, she married Russell B. Snyder II, with whom she shared many joyful years.

Over the course of her career, Marjorie held various customer service roles. She officially retired in 2020.

In her free time, Marjorie enjoyed bowling, visiting casinos, and spending time socializing with friends at the campground, where she created many cherished memories. Her home at Whispering Waters was a place of comfort, laughter, and friendship.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her loving husband Russell, her parents, her brother Bill Johnson, and her brother Bob Ruthruff.

She is survived by her sisters Edna Johnson and Francis (Ruthruff) Haynes; her stepchildren: Russell B. Snyder III, Christine (Snyder) Wilcox, Gary Snyder, and Michael (Sue) Snyder; along with 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
