Mark Robert Shaeffer

Mark Robert Shaeffer, age 49 of Lake City, Michigan and formerly of Hastings passed away October 27, 2010. He was born June 4, 1961 in Hastings the son of Robert and Kay (Kenfield) Shaeffer. Mark attended Hastings High School, graduating in 1979. He worked in the corrugated industry and at his brothers restaurant before moving to Lake City, MI to take care of his grandmother. \r
Mark enjoyed the outdoors. His interests included camping, hunting, playing guitar and drawing on his sketch pad. \r
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Kay Shaeffer and his sister, Lisa Shaeffer. He is survived by his father, Robert(Joy) Shaeffer of Middleville, Grandmother, Dorothy Shaeffer of Lake City, brothers; Eric (Tonya) Shaeffer and Gregg Shaeffer of Hastings, two nieces; Leah and Collyn, three nephews; Joe, Casey and Adam Shaeffer and one great niece, Makayla Shaeffer, all of Hastings. \r
Arrangements are by the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings. \r
