Mary A. Hoke, 82, of Dade City, Florida peacefully passed on March 7, 2016 (surrounded by her loving family). She was excitedly met by her loving husband Glenn and granddaughter Danielle Lynne Hays.
Mary was born on July 23, 1933 in McDonald, Ohio (rumor has it – on the kitchen table. Glenn always joked there weren't hospitals back then - even though he was older). Mary was born to Douglas Harden and Agnes Liddel Archibald. She grew up and graduated from Goshen, Ohio. She married Glenn David Hoke on May 22, 1955 in Beloit, Ohio and they were married for 37 wonderful years until Glenn's passing in 1992. They had 3 loving children – Sandy, Ray (Tiger) and Robin (Little Red).
Mary touched so many people in so many ways. Her laughter and sense of humor will always be remembered. She loved food, family, and friends! (Along with books, puzzles, games shows, and reality tv).
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband Glenn, brothers, Douglas & Jim, sister, Anna Mae and granddaughter Danielle.
Mary's legacy lives on through her 3 children, Sandra Kay Rivera of Linden, MI, Raymond Douglas (Diane) Hoke and Robin Lynne (Randy) Hays both of Hastings, MI, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. Mary will also miss her friends in Florida (especially Bob & Scooter, Carol, and Jackie).
Donations can be made to St. Judes Hospital in memory of Mary, or a charity of your choosing.
