Mary Jane McClelland of Hastings died Sunday, July 1st, 2007, at Thornapple Manner.\r
She was born July 10th, 1921, the daughter of Alva and Beulah (Spitzer) Kimmel of Roxand Township, Michigan. She moved to Barry County after her marriage to Damon D. McClelland in 1938. The two were married until Damon's passing in 1995. Mary enjoyed playing Bunco, hunting, and fishing in her spare time.\r
She is survived by a son, David (Ann) McClelland of Lansing; a daughter Sharon Rysdam of Hastings; 7 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 8 great,great grandchildren; sisters Dawn Cramer of Mulliken, Helen Austin of Cloverdale, and Janet (Max) Haney of Hollywood, Florida.\r
She was preceded in death by her husband Damon McClelland, her daughter Shirley Troutwine, and a brother Robert Kimmel.\r
A visitation will be held Thursday, July 5th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 6th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
