Mary Alice Woltz, age 66 of Hastings, passed away August 12, 2015 at her home.
Mary was born on December 10, 1948 in Hastings, Michigan the daughter of Clarence and Emma Jane (Frisbee) Schondelmayer. She attended Lakewood High School, graduating in 1967. Mary and Jerry Woltz were married in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 14, 1994. She worked for and retired from Hastings Manufacturing after 42 years of service. Mary was a dedicated member and committee person for the Local UAW 138.
She enjoyed quilt making and gardening. Friends and family enjoy the many beautiful things Mary has made for them. Mary was an active member of several quilt making organizations. She was also a member of the Confessions of Truth Ministries.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Lyle Schondelmayer.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry; her sons: Jamie (Amy) Graham, and Gordon Graham, step-daughter, Amanda Woltz and grandchildren: Dayton, Rachel and Monica, brother, Ted Schondelmayer of Florida, and nieces, Tammy Schondelmayer and Terri Watson, of Connecticut.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Memorial services will be held at Thornapple Valley Church, 2750 S. M-43 Hwy, Hastings, on August 21, 2015 at 11:00 am, followed by a luncheon. Rev. Carla Smith will officiate the service. Burial will take place at Fuller Cemetery in Carlton Township.
