Matthew Graham Reece-Jarman, age 34 of Hastings, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly October 24, 2017.
Matthew was born on April 13, 1983, in Tiverton, United Kingdom, the son of Alan and Ellen J. (Trent) Reece-Jarman. He graduated from Maple Valley High School in 2003. Matt honorably served in the U.S. Army from 2009 to 2013.
He was working as an ER Nurse Tech at Pennock Hospital in Hastings. Matt loved the outdoors, and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with family and friends and worshipping God.
Matt loved life, laughing and spending that life with Alyssa.
Matt is survived by his parents, Ellen and Alan Reece-Jarman, fiance' Alyssa Bergsma, sisters, Dee Reece-Jarman and Rebecca (Jason) Bourdo, and brother Richie Reece-Jarman.
Matt left a big imprint on many lives. He was an amazing person, both inside and out. Matt will be remembered for many things, but especially his big heart, his kindness, sense of humor, and wonderful smile. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Vistiation will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 3-5pm at the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 9:00 am at the Girrbach Funeral Home. Pastor David McDonald will officiate the service. Interment will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery with full military honors.
