Melissa Ann Eden, age 49, of Dorr, Michigan, passed away February 6, 2017 after battling cancer.
She was born September 27, 1967 in Hastings. A 1985 graduate of Godwin Heights High School, Melissa attended Ferris State University and proceeded to work in several locations throughout the United States before settling in Dorr, Michigan.
Melissa was proceeded in death by her father, Lee Roy Eden.
She is survived by her mother, Carolyn (Keith) Coats-Murphy; sister, Kelly (Keith) Casey-Sleeper, brother, Chad (Chris) Casey, "Dad", Gordon (Carol) Casey, the love of her life, Tim Kamyszek and step-daughter, Riley.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings. A Memorial service will follow the visitation at 1:00 pm. Pastor Randall Bertrand will officiate the service.
