Meredith "Mike" Jasper Reid Jr., age 63 of Hastings, Michigan, passed away August 3, 2016 at Metro Health Hospital in Grand Rapids.
Mike was born on September 18, 1952 in Hastings, Michigan, the son of Meredith (Mike) Reid, Sr., and Shirley M. Morgan. He attended Hastings High School.
Mike was a self employed mechanic. He loved working on motorcycles. Mike was a collector of many things. His greatest love was spending time with his daughter.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Shirley Reid, sister, Beverly Reid, and brother Thomas (Tom) Reid.
He is survived by his daughter, Keena Reid, siblings: Danie Murphy, Arbutus (Kitt) Accardi, Kathy (DeWayne) Gallup, Mona Hosteter, Karen (Loren) Mote, Richard Reid, Brenda (John) Shoup and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life luncheon will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Thornapple Valley Church, 2750 S. M-43 Hwy., Hastings, MI.
