Michael M. Coolidge

Michael M. Coolidge, age 56 of Battle Creek formally of Hastings, died Monday December 19,2016 At Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.

Mike was born June 2, 1960 in Long Beach, California, the son of William  J. and Mary Ann (Jozwiak) Coolidge. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1978.

He spent most of his life in Battle Creek area as a Certified Auto Mechanic.

He served in the US Navy from 1978 to 1983.

He loved to plant and harvest flowers, collecting coins, and working on everyone's vehicles .

Mike is survived by his children , Roxanne Shellington of Battle Creek, Ken Shellington of Hastings, Kimberly Coolidge of Battle Creek, Angela Coolidge of Battle Creek, Samantha Coolidge of Battle Creek, his father William Coolidge of Hastings, sister Sharon Griffin of Hastings, brother's Andy Matell and Steve Matell of Hastings, several grandchildren; Allen, Mariah, Madelyn, Kollin, Brayleigh, john, Jason, Mackenzie, Adalyn, Jensen, and Amariana.

Funeral services will be held Friday December 23 , 2016 at 11:00 am with visitation 1 hr. prior to service time at Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings. Fr. Stephen Philip will be officiating , burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Hastings .

Memorials may be made to any children's charity.
