Michael Edmund Rashid, age 58 of Delton, passed away April 30, 2018 at his residence.
Michael Rashid, was born June 30, 1959 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Edmund and Margaret (Neinstedt) Rashid. He attended Swartz Creek High School in Swartz Creek, Michigan, graduating in 1976. Michael married Theresa Tumer on September 5, 1993 and they were married 24 years.
Michael worked at several restaurants in the Flint, Michigan area, including Churchill's. He also worked at the Sports Page in Battle Creek and McGonigle's in Otsego. He enjoyed playing golf and gardening.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Margaret Rashid. He is survived by his wife, Theresa of Delton, Michigan, daughter, Tabatha (Chris) Malone of Flint, Michigan, three grandchildren, Tristen, McCoy, and Leroy, sister Mary Kay (Scott) Bright, brother, Paul (Cheryl) Rashid, two nephews, Michael and Matthew Bright.

Michael loved God and His Word. He was able to touch people and share God's love.
Respecting Michael's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time.
