Mona Reid-Keller-Hosteter, age 67 of Wayland and formerly Hastings passed away September 23, 2016.
Mona was born on September 19, 1949 in Hastings, Michigan the daughter of Meredith "Mike" and Shirley (Morgan) Reid. She attended Hastings Schools. Mona worked for Thornapple Valley Meats in Walker, Michigan for several years and the Laurels of Sandy Creek in Wayland.
She loved to garden, visit with friends and go to the casino.
Mona was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Shirley Reid, and brothers, Tommy and Mike Reid.
She is survived by her daughter Stacie (Don) Gilbert of Wayland, son, David (Holly) Keller of Wayland, grandchildren: Thomas Keller, Rayvenne Keller, Anna Keller, Caleb Keller, Corinna (Ryan) Chrisman, Merinna Keller and Marcus Keller, sisters, Kitt Acarie of Hastings, Kathy (Duane) Gallup of Hastings, Karen (Loren) Mote of Lake Odessa, Brenda (John) Shoup of Hastings, and brother, Richard Reid of Florida.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice, 530 Linn St., Allegan, MI 49010.
A Memorial visitation and service will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings. Visitation from 1-2 pm and memorial service at 2:00 pm. Officiating, Loren John Mote. Interment at Hastings Township Cemetery at a later date.
