Nora Jean Binkowski

Nora Jean (Webster) Binkowski, age 63, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 31, 2019, at her home in Rutland Township, Michigan. Nora was born on April 10, 1955 to John and Margaret (Coleman) Webster in Hastings, Michigan.  She graduated from Hastings High School in 1973. She was married to Anthony Binkowski on June 22, 1989.  Nora enjoyed knitting and crafts and for many years. Nora traveled around Michigan attending numerous craft shows, throughout the years, selling her crafts. She also owned and operated her own craft consignment shop, My Favorite Things, in Hastings for several years.  Nora had a special love for animals and gave a loving home to many a stray cat and had a special love for the small dog breeds Brussels Griffon and Bichon Frise.

Nora was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years Anthony Binkowski, stepsons Randy (Tami) Binkowski and Scott (Karmen) Binkowski, grandsons Luke, Ethan, Tyler, Alex and Ryan Binkowski, sisters Katie (Jerome) Rosenthal and Sally (Gary) Hammond, nephews Josh Rosenthal and Christopher Hammond and nieces Laura Anderson and Gavi Rosenthal.

Private burial to take place on Thursday, April 4, 2019.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Barry County Humane Society. Services provided by Girrbach Funeral Home, Hastings, Michigan.
