Pamela Sue Cook, age 71 of Delton, Michigan, passed away February 13, 2018 at her Wall Lake home.
Pam was born January 28, 1947 in Hastings, Michigan, the daughter of Maynard and Ardyth (Kingsley) Park. She graduated from Middleville High School, class of 1965. Pam married Douglas Cook on October 7, 1967. Together they enjoyed 50 plus years of marriage.
Pam was an asset to any job she held, working at Pennock Hospital, Hastings City Bank of Caledonia, Dr. Peurach Dentistry and other organizations. She enjoyed painting, home remodeling, and gardening. Pam's greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren, expressing her unconditional love to them. She also loved living on Wall Lake, with husband Doug.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Maynard and Ardyth Park.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas Cook of Wall Lake, MI, daughter, Aimee Peer of Huntersville, NC, son, Travis Cook of Charlotte, NC, grandchildren, McKenna and Devin Peer of Huntersville, NC, sisters, Judy (Jerry) Jackiewicz of Hastings, Carol (Sam) Ayers of Middleville, MI and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings. A Celebration of Life will follow visitation, beginning at 4:00 pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Barry County Animal Shelter, 540 Industrial Park Dr., Hastings, MI 49058.
