Patricia J. Hurt/Williams

Patricia Jean Hurt/Williams age 77, of Hastings passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, March 7, 2013 at her residence.

She was born July 8, 1935 in Eaton County, the daughter of Fay and Ruth (Cashmore) DeMond. Patricia attended a country school in Hastings. She was married to Homer Hurt, who passed away in 1982. Patricia married her second husband, Maxwell Williams on October 19, 1998. He  passed away on January 28, 1999. Patricia was a homemaker for most of her life and for a short time worked for the Commission on Aging. She enjoyed listening to country music.

Patricia was preceded in death by husbands: Homer Hurt and Maxwell Williams, and a daughter, Maryann Hurt in 1981.

Patricia is survived by her son, Larry (Gail) Hurt of Hastings and daughter, Brady King of Grand Rapids.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 17th at noon at Riverside Cemetery in Hastings.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help cover final expenses.
