Age 84, passed away on May 25, 2016 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was born on March 24, 1932 in Clarksville, Michigan to Gottlieb and Pearl (Hanson) Roth. She graduated from high school in Lake Odessa and business college in Lansing. Pat worked in Lansing as an accountant for 30 years for the State of Michigan. After retiring, she and her husband, Ray, moved to Pennock Village in Hastings, Michigan.
Patricia was a member of the United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader. She enjoyed playing cards with her weekly group at Pennock Village. Patty and her husband Ray traveled to many destinations when they were able too. She had several bird feeders outside her dining room window and enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels. She loved cats and had several over her lifetime.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ray of 37 years who passed away in 2003, brothers Darwin (Lorraine) Roth, Clare (Ellen) Roth, and Don Roth, sister Doris (Henry) London and brother-in-laws Erwin Harwood and Russell Hazel.
She is survived by sisters Agnes Hardwood of Clarksville, Jean Hazel of Lake Odessa, many nieces and nephews and friends. Linda Farrah of Delton worked as Pat's caregiver for many years and became her best friend.
Services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at Girrbach Funeral Home, 328 S. Broadway, Hastings, Michigan 49058 with visitation one hour prior to the service. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Clarksville Cemetery at 1:30 PM following a luncheon at Green Street Church (formerly First United Methodist Church of Hastings).
Patricia and her husband were very active in the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) organization as well as the Veterans of Foreign War (VFW). Memorial contributions may be made to the DAV Memorial Program P.O.
