Patricia Dianne "Pat" Bowdler

Patricia "Pat" (McNeil) Bowdler, age 69, went home to her Father, Lord and Savior, March 1, 2013.

Pat was born August 3, 1943, daughter of George and Elsie (Blackburn) McNeil in Detroit, Michigan. She was raised and went to school in Lincoln Park where she graduated in 1961.

Pat is survived by her son, William Bowdler and daughter, Kristi (Kurt) Palmbos, granddaughter Keeley Palmbos and grandson Austin Palmbos, Sister, Beverly (Jim) Thompson, and brothers, John (Fran) McNeil and George McNeil, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and even a few great-great-nieces and nephews. And many close friends who would also call her sister or aunt.

Pat worked in the medical field her whole life. She went back to college to get her nursing degree while raising her children as a single mother. She graduated in 1990.

Although she loved nursing, her true joy in life were her grandchildren. She loved "her babies" the most. She didn't get to spend many years with them, but the time she did will be cherished and forever in our hearts.

Pat's family would like to thank Hastings Magnum Care staff for the love and care they gave her. You are all truly appreciated.
