Peggy Ann McNatt

Peggy Ann McNatt, born on September 5, 1960, in Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026, in Hastings, Michigan. Surrounded by her loving family, Peggy's departure marks the end of a brave battle with lung cancer that began in April of 2025. A devoted member of Gospel Light Baptist Church, she drew deep comfort from her faith as she was welcomed into heaven by her Lord and Savior.

Peggy enjoyed a fulfilling career in home healthcare, where her nurturing spirit shone brightly. A dedicated and loving mother and grandmother, she was involved with each of her children and grandchildren, instilling in them the values of love and community. Her family was her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Peggy was preceded in death by her father, James Jones. She is survived by her devoted husband, Mark McNatt, and her beloved children: Natasha Robinson, Thomas Hill, and Jessica Fischer. Her grandchildren—Selena (Garrett) Vanputten, Jared (Lilly) Peabody, Gianna Marsh, Ethan Robinson, Ellianna Hill, Dominic Collins, Lilly Robinson, and Zara Pelli—brought immeasurable joy to her life, along with her great-grandchild, Bowie Vanputten. Her love extended deeply to her mother, Lorraine Jones, and her siblings: Connie Westrick, Kenny Jones, Tammy Williams, and David Jones, who also survive her.

Beyond her role as a caregiver and nurturer, Peggy was a great homemaker, known for her baking skills and a passion for gardening. She found joy in the beauty of flowers and the tranquility of nurturing plants. A lover of games, she spent many hours connecting with friends in the virtual world of World of Warcraft, showcasing her playful side and ability to create bonds with others even beyond her physical reach.

Per Peggy’s wishes, no formal services will be held, allowing her family to celebrate her life in their own cherished ways. Arrangements by Girrbach Funeral Home. To leave an online condolence visit www.girrbachfuneralhome.net.
