Rachel Raye Barton

Rachel Raye Barton, age 89, of Hastings, Michigan, passed away on July 20, 2022.

Rachel was born on December 23, 1932 in Roanoke Rapids, NC, the daughter of NeAtom L. and Annie Braswell.

Rachel married Robert Barton on August 28, 1965, and they enjoyed nearly 57 years together.  She enjoyed spending time with her family – especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rachel is preceded in death by her parents, and grandson James Robert Jeager.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert R. Barton of Hastings, MI, daughter Jodi Lynn Jeager of Melbourne, FL, daughter Hope Elizabeth Barton of Little Falls, MN, son Ron Barton of Hastings, MI, grandsons Scott, Zachary, Shane, Jeffrey and Ethan, and great-grandsons Cillian, Wayne, Matthew, Levi, Winston, and Gabriel.
