Raymond Lynn Cooley

Raymond Lynn Cooley, age 83 of Englewood, Florida, formerly of Hastings, Michigan, passed away on April 9, 2020.  Raymond was born on July 23, 1936 in Hastings, Michigan, the son of Lawrence and Ruth (Loveland) Cooley.

He was a 1953 graduate of Hastings High School and also attended Western Michigan University. On January 5, 1957, Raymond married Elaine A.  Bryans.  Raymond proudly served in the US Navy from 1955-1957 honorably discharged at the rank of Radarman 2 ^nd Class, and worked for EW Bliss, Local Finance, Rex Sales Corporation, Superior Distributing Company, Hastings Aluminum Products, and Hall Family Enterprises

Raymond enjoyed golf and music and was a member of the Hastings Jaycees.  He was also a Loyal Order Moose Life Member, and a member of BPOE Hastings Elks.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Norman, Keith, and Hubert.  He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elaine Cooley, and sons Steven (Judy), Christopher (Deb), Craig (Renae), and grandchildren Matt, Anna, and Carson.
