Richard D. Clark, 91 of Hastings, Michigan, passed away on November 17, 2021.  He was born March 23, 1930, to Clayton and Reva (Cross) Clark in Vermontville, Michigan.  He moved to Hastings in 1942 and graduated from Hastings High School in 1948.

Richard worked for Highland Dairy delivering milk door to door and Hastings Aluminum Products.  He retired from the Kellogg Company in 1988 after 32 years.

His real passion was cutting firewood.  He did this well into his 80's.  He loved his grandkids and great-grandkids and took them for tractor rides and watched their sporting events.  He and Mert took the grandkids camping for one week each summer at Gun Lake.

Richard was a member of the Masons in Nashville for many years, and the Kellogg 25 Year Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gerald Clark and sister Ruth Huhn.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtle (Mert) Clark, his four children Vickie (Mike) Ward, Mike Clark, Kathy (Tom) Pierce and Karen (Doug) Maiville, 7 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.  The family wishes to thank the caretakers at Thornapple Manor for their loving care.
