Richard Lee Willavize Iii

Richard Lee Willavize III, age 53 of Bellevue, Michigan, passed away on October 1, 2022.

Richard was born on December 30, 1968, in Battle Creek, Michigan, the son of Richard Lee Jr. and Linda (Turley) Willavize.

On January 28, 2000, Richard married Kristen Verdon, and they enjoyed 25 years together, 22 of which they were married. Richard worked a variety of jobs; he loved learning new things and was a jack of all trades. Richard (Byrd) enjoyed fishing and disc golfing. He had a great love of sports and spending time with his family.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Richard Lee Willavize, Jr., paternal grandfather Richard Lee Willavize, Sr., paternal grandmother Dorothy (Willavize) Timpone, and maternal grandparents Frederick and Geneva (Swank) Turley.

He is survived by his wife Kristen Willavize of Bellevue, Michigan, mother Linda K. Willavize of Bellevue, Michigan, son Preston J. Willavize of Wichita, Kansas, daughter Skyler R. Willavize of Chesapeake, Virginia, and son Richard Lee Willavize IV of Denver, Colorado.
