Robert James Koster, age 64 of Belding and formerly of Alaska, Michigan, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016.
Bob was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on December 25, 1951, the son of James and Shirley (Johnson) Koster.
He attended Caledonia High School, graduating in 1969. Bob worked at the 4 Star Gas Station on 28th Street in Grand Rapids. He was a car and motorcycle enthusiast.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Emma Koster.
He is survived by his sister, Kathy Koster, brother, Tom Koster, nieces, Leah LiBine and Jenelle (Matt) LiBine-Eaton, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to Metron of Belding Nursing Home, 414 E. State St., Belding, MI 48809.
A friends and family gathering will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the Girrbach Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
