Robert "Bob" W. Feltzer

Of Hastings, died on August 27, 2018 in Grand Rapids, Michigan at age 77. He was born in Freeport, Michigan on June 29, 1941, the son of William and Florentine (Mazurkiewicz) Feltzer. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1961. He honorably served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1965. He married Joyce Dawson on June 29, 1968. He worked at Hastings Aluminum Products, E.W. Bliss, Echtinaws Service, Paulstra, CRC and retired in 2008.

Bob loved to walk the neighborhood to talk to the kids, work in his garden, play cards with friends, doing word search books, traveling, camping, watching T.V., his hat collection and eating hamburgers.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Pat Hayes. He is survived by his wife Joyce, of 50 years, of Freeport, Michigan, son Jason (Leighanne) Feltzer of Malone, New York, son Brandon (Holly) Feltzer of Grand Rapids, Michigan, grandchildren Hannah, Michaela, and Danielle, brother Richard Feltzer, sister Jeri Ellerthorpe, Maryann Elzerman, half brothers Ray and Eddie, half sisters Dawn, Sandy and Robin, brother in law Herb Dawson, sister in law Leah Klepac and special friends, Herb and Diane McCulligh and Delores Dipp.

A Memorial Service will be held on September 29, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Freeport Community Center, 209 State St., Freeport, MI.
