Robin L Tallent

Ms. Robin L Tallent 67, died on December 27, 2021 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was born December 24, 1954 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Etta Roe and James Howard Tallent Sr.

Robin grew up in Battle Creek until she and her family moved to Hastings in 1969 and finished her formal education with Hastings Area schools.

Robin was employed with ProLine many years until she moved back to Battle Creek and worked for Denso and a stamping company. Upon returning to Hastings she was employed with Viking until she left to become a caretaker for three of her grandchildren and moved to El Paso, Texas in 2007.  She loved volunteering for the USO and was awarded many accolades and Volunteer of the Year for Ft. Bliss in 2009. In 2010 she became Olive Garden's best hostess ever and loved going to work and interacting with customers, she missed it greatly when she wasn't able to continue working in 2017.

Robin was preceded in death by her mother, Etta Roe and her father, James Howard Tallent Sr.

Robin leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Mrs. Teshia L. Stone (Jody) of Lawton, Oklahoma and Mrs. Shannon L. Wilson (Emanuel) of Battle Creek, Michigan. One sister, Mrs. Vicki L. Thomas (Rodney) and one brother Mr. James H. Tallent Jr. (Winfred). Five grandchildren, Ms. Pamela Welborn (Oklahoma), Mr. Chase Welborn (Oklahoma), Ms. Rebecca Neill (Battle Creek), Ms. Cora Walford (Oklahoma) and Mr. Draven Wilson (Battle Creek).  Two nieces, Ms. Shawn Tallent and Mrs. Amanda Peirce (Todd), one nephew, Mr. James (JJ) Tallent (Denni), and a host of cousins and friends from all over.

Robin loved to do crossword puzzles, word finds and bingo, she loved to go out to the Wichita Wildlife Refuse and watch the wild buffalo and steers.  She loved to watch Days of Our Lives every day and true crime documentaries, but most of all she loved her family and friends to no end.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Girrbach Funeral Home, 328 S Broadway; Hastings, MI 49058.  Arrangements by Girrbach Funeral Home.
