Rose Mary Danuloff

Rose Mary Danuloff passed away on January 16, 2024, in Wayland, Michigan. She was born on January 2, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Felix and Mary (Horosko) Wiejaczka.

Rose was a graduate of Mercy College of Detroit. On April 1, 1978, Rose married the love of her life, Donald Zane Danuloff, enjoying 23 years together until his passing in 2001.

After moving to Hastings, Michigan in 1976 with her beloved daughter Debra, Rose served as the Medical Records Director at Pennock Hospital. Rose's career culminated in her role as the Director of Medical Records at Health South in Las Vegas, Nevada, retiring in 2007.

Rose was an animal lover, with her cat Tigger holding a special place in her heart. Her hobbies and interests were diverse, and she found joy in shopping, crafting, and the thrill of playing at casinos. She enjoyed antique stores and was always engrossed in a good book. A true sports enthusiast, Rose was an ardent supporter of the University of Michigan's football team, and their recent National Title brought her immense excitement.

Travel was another of Rose's pleasures, with a memorable trip to Europe with her mother being a highlight. The photograph she captured of Queen Elizabeth was so treasured that it found a permanent home in her wallet.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Zane Danuloff, and brother Dennis Wiejaczka. Her legacy lives on through her daughter, Debra Knight (Charles Rex) Hughey of Dorr, Michigan; her sister, Theresa Michaluk of Troy, Michigan; her brother, John (Mary) Wiejaczka of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and the many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
