Ruby Mary Bolton

Ruby Mary Bolton age 83 of Hastings, passed away November 4, 2013 at Pennock Hospital in Hastings.

Ruby was born on March 8, 1930, the daughter of Oliver and Alma (Bradshaw) Boulter.

She graduated from Woodland High School, class of 1948. Ruby married David Bolton on June 9, 1949. She worked for Hastings City Bank for over 20 years, until her retirement. After her retirement, Ruby worked for Jack Walker for several years. She also did volunteer work at Pennock Hospital in Hastings.

Ruby was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and quilt making. Ruby was also a big football and baseball fan.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Alma Boulter, brother, Joseph Boulter and sister, Janice Boulter Jordan.

Ruby is survived by her husband, David Bolton, son, Raymond (Mary) Bolton, daughter, Barbara (Joseph) Lyons, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. brothers Oliver (Joyce) Boulter and Edgar (Janet) Boulter .

Heaven has gained an amazing angel who truly touched many hearts.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Grace Lutheran Church in Hastings. A visitation will precede the funeral service from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Rev. Jonathon Reid will officiate the service. A private family burial at Fuller Cemetery will take place at a later date.
