Ruth Adell Mcdaniels

Ruth Adell McDaniels, age 92 of Hastings, passed away September 30, 2012 at Magnum Care in Hastings.

She was born on March 3, 1920 in Stanley, North Dakota, the daughter of Carl and Ruth A. (Jackson) Moore.  Ruth attended and graduated from Vermontville High School in 1935. She was a homemaker and a caregiver for most of her life. Ruth enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and crafts. She received a letter of accommodation from the Government of Florida for crocheting over 100 lap blankets for Vets at the Tampa, Florida VA Hospital. Ruth was a member of the Moose and VFW.  She enjoyed wintering for many years in Florida.

Ruth was preceded in death by husbands, Cecil Dudley, Louis Rice and Robert McDaniels; brother, Leslie Moore; two sons: David Dudley and Richard Dudley and granddaughter, Cathi Earl Bowerman.

She is survived by her daughter, Roberta (Gordon) Earl Cooper; son, Mark A. (Tracy) Dudley; sixteen grandchildren, special granddaughter Anna Pisopo; twenty-three great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
