Samuel P. Colley age 77 of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Pennock Hospital in Hastings.
Samuel was born on February 24, 1936 in Witcherville, Arkansas, the son of Samuel V. and Pruddie M. (Hocott) Colley. Samuel was a graduate of Ferndale High School. He was a self-employed businessowner. Samuel married Carol Jean Virta in 1958.
Samuel was a lifetime member of the Hazel Park Eagles. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed bowling, softball and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Pruddie Colley and wife, Carol Jean Colley.
Samuel is survived by his sons, Michael Colley, Sam Colley, daughter-in-law, Bernadette, granddaughters, Samantha, Alicia, Taryn and Kathleen and great-grandson, Trystan.
A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Riverside Cemetery in Hastings.
