Samuel Carl Worthington, age 84 of Dowling, Michigan passed away at his residence September 15, 2018.
Samuel was born July 16, 1934 in Evansville, Tennessee, the son of Samuel Homer and Lorinda Jane (Ward) Worthington.
He married Eloise Morgan on December 15, 1958. Carl was a member of Millwright Local 1102. He was a Mason member.
Carl enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, playing his guitar and spending time with his family and friends.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Lorinda Worthington, daughter, LouAnn Worthington, brothers, Edward, Ronald and Kenny Worthington, sister, Shirley Ryan and grandson, Zac Cheney.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Eloise Worthington, daughters, Tara (Larry) McKelvey, Sherry Worthington, and Patti Cheney (Tim). Grandchildren, Amanda (Marquice) Smith, Shae Liesinger (Baily) and Jaden. Great-grandchildren, Austyn, Onyx, Zayden, Madison and Kayden Shay. Brother Robert Worthington.
Respecting Carl's wishes, a private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
