Sandra Ann Smith

Sandra Ann Smith, age 21, of Hastings passed away on July 20, 2020. She was born on February 18, 1999 and raised by her grandparents James and Sandy Breitner.

Sandra was a 2017 graduate of Hastings High School. She worked in Daycare at Y-Time from 2017 to 2020.

Sandra enjoyed painting, Legos, Olaf (Frozen), fishing, country music, movies (Disney), shopping, and attending the Methodist Church.

Sandra is preceded in death by her mother, Vickie Root.

She is survived by her grandparents James and Sandra Breitner, sister Sophia Smith, sister Jamie Heath, many aunts, uncles and cousins, special teacher Mr. I, her boyfriend, Charlie Perry, and special cat, Angela.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the family to help with expenses.

A visitation will be held at Girrbach Funeral Home, 328 S. Broadway, Hastings, MI on Friday, July 24, from Noon to 2:00 PM with a graveside service held directly following at Hastings Township Cemetery, 2475 McKeown Rd; Hastings, MI, Pastor Jerry Bukoski officiating.
