Shane Lynn Bassett

Shane Lynn Bassett, age 49, of Hastings, Michigan, passed away on November 21, 2021. Shane was born on September 1, 1972, in Charlotte, Michigan, the daughter of Robert and Wendy (Wood) Bassett.

Shane attended Hastings High School with the Class of 1991 and was employed as a waitress until she was no longer able to work.

Shane enjoyed music – singing and dancing the most! She loved movies, comedies, mysteries, spending time outdoors, going to the beach or sunbathing. She liked playing cards with friends and laughing. She enjoyed reading. Her interests included fashion, mani/pedi's, shopping, shoes and purses, and iced coffee.

Shane is preceded in death by her mother, Wendy Wood-Bassett, maternal grandparents Thomas and Yvonne Wood, and paternal grandparents Clay and Rachel Bassett.

She is survived by her father Robert Bassett, sister Rhiannon Bassett, and sister Laurie (Craig) Wingate.
