Stacy Lynn Heuss

Stacy Heuss (Smith) age 39 of Hastings, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids.

Stacy was born in Hastings, Michigan on February 8, 1974, the daughter of Michael Jasper and Leslie Sue (Thomas) Smith.

Stacy attended and graduated from Hastings High School. She married John Heuss on June 25, 1993. Stacy loved animals, the outdoors, her children and music.

Stacy was preceded in death by her mother, Leslie Worm, father, Michael Jasper Smith, husband, John Heuss, Paternal Grandparents, Walter and Marilyn Smith, Norma and William Pierce, Owen Thomas and father-in-law "Papa" Heuss.

Stacy is survived by her children: Jeffery Thompson (Veronica Beard), Nicole Thompson and Matthew Thompson, brother Michael (Nancy) Smith of Hastings, Aunt, Sandy Madsen, Uncle Rod (Vicki) Thomas, step-father, Tim Worm,  Marsha Thomas, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11:00 am at Mount Calvary Cemetery on West Green St. in Hastings. A celebration of life luncheon will follow the graveside service at the Elks Lodge on Woddlawn Ave. in Hastings.
