Stephen Edwin Lawrence

Stephen Edwin Lawrence age 53 of Hastings, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, March 14, 2014 in Hastings.

Steve was born on July 15, 1960 in Mansfield, Ohio, the son of Walter Jesse and Geraldine (Adkins) Lawrence Sr. He attended and graduated from Hastings High School.

Steve held various jobs in the Hastings and Battle Creek Area. He enjoyed coin and stamp collecting, cooking and grilling. Steve especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Lawrence, niece, Rebecca Perkins, grandmother, Lula Brown Adkins, grandfather, Norman Adkins, grandfather, Eli Lawrence, grandmother, Dorothy Lawrence.

Steve is survived by his son, Andrew Lawrence, his father, Walter Lawrence Sr.; sisters, Linda (George) Perkins, Janet (Chuck) Marble, brothers, Doug Lawrence, Walter Lawrence Jr and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Girrbach Funeral Home in Hastings from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
