Suzanne Kay Nash

Suzanne Kay Nash, age 80, of Freeport went to her heavenly home on March 12, 2015.

Suzanne was born on January 11, 1935 in Cloverdale, Michigan, the daughter of Walter J. and Blanche I. (Brooks) Lewis. She graduated from Delton Kellogg in 1952. Suzanne married Ronald Nash on January 16, 1955. She was a dedicated employee at Feldpaush and later Family Fare for 43 years.

Suzanne was a member of the First United Methodist Church and sang in the church choir. She enjoyed traveling with husband Ron. Two of her favorite trips were to the Kentucky Derby and Vegas. Suzanne was an avid bowler, enjoyed playing golf and was a Michigan Fan. She and Ron attended the Rosebowl one year to see Michigan play. Her favorite place to be was at her home on Sugarbush Lake. Suzanne also loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in by her parents, husband Ronald Nash (2012), brother, James Lewis, and brother-in-law, Robert Mackaluso.

Suzanne is survived by her children, Julie Keech, Daniel Nash (Amy Temby) and Tammy Daniels (Dave Coleman), grandchildren: Brent Keech (Allison Louden), Kristen (Matt) Mulder, Danielle (Blade) Patrick, Dustin (Erin) Nash, Andrew (Jana) Daniels, Lindsey (Michael) Wiltshire, great-grandchildren Brynn, Damien, Caylin, Caycee, Cameron, Olivia Weston, Ella, Tyler, Blaine, and Tessa, siblings: Mary Louise Mackaluso, Phillip (Marilyn) Lewis, and Barbara (Karl) Anders.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Hastings, Hospice of your choice or the American Cancer Society.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 12:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church, 209 W. Green St., Hastings, MI.
A one hour visitation period will proceed the funeral service from 11:00 am until noon. A luncheon will follow the funeral service
at the Elk's Lodge.
